Drawn from roadside osterias—Italian country taverns—Osteria Savio Volpe is a humble, elemental, and irreverent neighbourhood restaurant in Vancouver’s Fraserhood. Centered around the principles of Italian family values, nods to the restaurant’s muse, Savio Volpe (Sly Fox) can be seen throughout the space, whether it be his suits used as upholstery, his wine on the shelves, or his butcher’s knife hanging from the wall.
