Monos’ Vancouver headquarters reimagines the workplace through the ethos of an apartment: personal, welcoming, comfortable, social and adaptable.

The new home reflects a company that has grown beyond the traditional boundaries of a luggage brand. Rooted in travel, design and simplicity, Monos has evolved into a brand focused on the experiences, ideas and connections that shape the journey. Its headquarters supports that evolution as a setting for work, experimentation, hosting and gathering.

Ste Marie approached the project as a thought partner as much as a designer, developing a flexible framework that could grow alongside the company. At the centre, a continuous communal table anchors the open plan, providing a surface for work, meetings, product development, dining and gathering. Around it, softer settings encourage lingering, conversation and exchange, alongside more intimate spaces including a tea room and kitchen.

Spaces can expand, contract and change purpose as needed. Considered but not overly designed, Monos HQ combines the warmth and informality of a personal space with the flexibility of a creative studio.
